a leadminer's cottage, school room and stable, Whitsundale House has been
recently renovated to provide spacious accommodation for four guests, packed
with charm and character. There are character features throughout, with exposed
stonework and beams, deep-set sash windows and a cast iron range with open
fire.
It now offers a well equipped fitted kitchen, large utility/drying room with bike storage space, second toilet, dining room with large pine farmhouse table, grandad chair and settle, and beamed sitting room with traditional range (with open fire).
The first floor has two large bedrooms, one double (with kingsize bed) with stone fireplace and separate entrance with granary steps to the front of the cottage, and one twin, both with lovely views towards Muker Common, and a large bathroom (with electric shower over the bath).
The cottage has a small enclosed garden (south facing) to the front with table & chairs overlooking the village
Pets welcome by arrangement.
No smoking in the cottage.
